Hollywood actor Cam Gigandet came to the fitness spotlight after he appeared in the movie "Never Back Down" looking ultra lean with a sharp athletic physique. We've highlighted other celebrities who have a similar physique: Brad Pitt and David Bekcham.

You do not see big bulging muscles on these guys and their body fat percentage is very low to give them that great degree of definition that many people want to desperately get at. Even though these guys are not big muscled, they are the ones women tend to admire as physically attractive men.

So Let's Get Right To It...How To Get A Body Like Cam Gigandet?

Getting a body like Cam Gigandet calls for a program that focuses a great deal on losing body fat and less time building muscle. Cam Gigandet workout to get the figure he has in Never Back Down was based on exercises more aimed at boosting his cardiovascular system than maximizing muscle growth.

But don't take this the wrong way. Building muscle mass is important for increasing your fitness level. You cannot neglect trainning to build up muscle mass when you are skinny and need some muscle growth, but Cam Gigandet was not really out of shape before he began his training for Never Back Down.

So always keep your diet in tune when working out to burn body fat.

Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" Body And Muscles - Also Pictures of The Rock Body Through His Career

Being a football player, professional wrestler and action movie star, Dwayne Johnson, who we all know as "The Rock", maintained a body of amazing muscular structure from a very early point in his life.

Making the transition from footballer to wrestler, then wrestler to movie star all required The Rock to appropriately adjust his body to be in the right shape for his occupation.

On making the transition from footballer to wrestler, The Rock cut down some of his much big size. He cut down some additional pounds for his first movie roles, but regained a lot of size recently.

Presently, the Rock is at a massive size that an ordinary person do not need to get at, for obvious reasons.

The Rock's body and muscles plays a profound role in his career, he is not just an ordinary guy building muscle to improve his fitness and appearance like most of us. The Rock's muscles and body is a serious asset for the work that he do.

Besides that, big is part of The Rock's genetics - he is 6'4", has a big frame size and is clearly a naturally muscular man. Therefore, average muscle mass for the Rock is suppose to be a lot of muscles. Yet, in my opinion his muscles is not extremely swollen and bloated like some other professional bodybuilders.

Also, The Rock is always changing up his routine to get the best shape and look for whatever role he is playing. At any time he can switch his goal to build up or cut down muscle in order to fulfill his ever changing career demands.

So unless you are planning to join the WWE or star in a movie like Pain & Gain (new movie with The Rock and Mark Wahlberg where they play bodybuilders) and have a height over 6'3" you should just watch and admire The Rock's big muscular physique.

A sensible approach to building muscle is to aim for a body that suits your lifestyle and interest - the lean athletic body with average muscle mass is what is appropriate for most guys who are not professional bodybuilders.

However, if your goal is to add mass to make your muscles stand out some more, you may want to use Rusty Moore's strategy to add muscle in the right body parts and lose fat effectively to get at a low level of body fat to look amazingly defined.

When Did The Rock Start Building Muscle?

While many Hollywood actors started seriously building muscle to prepare for film roles, the Rock was already in incredible shape long before he got into acting, even before becoming a wrestler.

It's reported that the Rock did his first lifting in a gym at the age of just 13. He played football in college, and he came from a family of buffed wrestlers. His grand dad and father were both wrestlers in their days, as well other members of his family. So Dwayne Johnson, The Rock, had wrestling in his genes, and so was the ability to gain muscle mass effectively.

When the Rock joined wrestling, a decisions he made after getting cut out of football, he was very big and heavy at 280 pounds. The Rock wanted to be lighter and move more effectively in the ring, as a result, he cut down to get to 260 lbs with a workout that targeted one body part per workout session.

The Rock continued the following years to work on keeping in the best shape that was most suitable for him in the ring to execute his wrestling tactics properly.

Dwayne Johnson The Rock Movie Roles And His Body Today

Rock has gone through some quite dramatic body changes during his movie career. He was at a smaller size when he acted in his first set of films such as The Scorpion King and The Run Down. Now, the Rock is more huge with a load of bulging muscles.

This year 2013, we'll see The Rock flaunting his massive size in his recent films: Pain And Gain, GI Joe: Retaliation and The Fast And The Furious Six.

How To Get A Nice lean Body In Time For Summer

Summer is the hottest time of the year, and it's the time when more body-revealing clothes are worn by most people, so it'll pay to get into incredible shape before the season is here.

If you have plans to look stunning when you dress to go out or to spend time on the beach for this upcoming summer time, I'm sure you'll want to look ridiculously attractive in your summer clothes or beachwear.

Accomplishing this would lead to a feeling of great confidence and even turn heads your way.

This said, I'm writing this article today (early enough) to help you accomplish getting a smoking lean body for summer.

Seriously, a big mistake people make is starting their diet and exercise routine way too late when aiming to get into better shape for a specified time or special occasion.

The truth is, getting in exceptionally good shape takes time, which is not only due to the time it takes for diet and exercise to produce results, but the time it takes to get motivated and into the grove of things as well. Therefore, you need to give yourself plenty of time by starting to take action at a serious level 4-6 months ahead of summer. Here's some tips to help you get an impressive lean body in time for summer.

1. Weigh Yourself And Keep Track Of Your Progress

By weighing yourself you can work towards your target weight by looking at the numbers. You may not know exactly what weight you need to get at to look amazing, but by knowing your body weight, you can set and accomplish smaller realistic goals until you reach the ultimate level you need to get at in order to be in top shape.

For example, if you weigh 200 pounds and aim to lose 10 lbs, you'll have a pretty good idea of how much more pounds total you need to drop to get your desired lean body for summer.

2. Look At Pictures Of Lean Fitness Role Models And Visualize Your Lean Body

A great way to get motivated to hit the gym is to look at pictures of people who are in decent shape. Your mind will push you to get into awesome shape too if you look at pictures of those lean and trim models and celebrities.

Some people will argue that these lean role models have advantages such as the right genes to look the way they do.

True, genetics affect our body's capability to get lean and well-shaped, but each person will get results in their own unique way and look awesome with their own unique body type.

The key is to use the right fat loss program to give you the best possible results.

3. Try On Your Summer Clothes Or Beach Wear

You want to look hot in your summer clothes right? Then try on your summer and beach wear now, look in the mirror and see how much work you have to do before summer arrives.

The more fat you have, means the more work you have to do to get lean. But, once you start early enough, like we're recommending, you'll have enough time to burn the fat and look unbelievably attractive.

4. Start The Right Diet And Exercise Program To Get lean

By now you should know that eating at a calorie deficit plus doing the right cardio exercise is required for losing body fat. And yes, this is all it really takes to get as lean as you want, but you must do this correctly so that your body will actually burn the fat.

You have to modify your diet to eat less of the foods that provide the most energy - because these are the foods that are high in calories, as well as, do the right cardio exercises that will turn your body into a fat burning machine.

Honestly, you may not know exactly the type of results you'll get before starting a fat loss program, so it's very important to start your efforts early enough, thus have enough time to tweak your program to suit your specific circumstances and get the results you are happy with.

If you want a tremendously lean body for summer, the key is to start getting serious about losing body fat months in advance.

You can't go wrong with this approach because you'll have enough time to work things out to get satisfactory results, even if you didn't get a good start with the fat loss program you choose.

As a recommendation, you may want to check out Rusty's Visual Impact Cardio - a very effective fat loss program that's nicely detailed and fun to follow. It's really one of the best programs you can work along with to get a blazing lean body for summer.......Thank you for reading. Have fun getting lean for summer!

Getting A Fit And Healthy Body At Maximal Level As One Of Your valued possessions in Life

Many people do not take the fitness and health of their body serious enough.  In fact, many people totally neglect doing anything that will contribute to improvements in the health and fitness level of their body.

To be honest, this is really not a good approach towards life, simply because our body is a main personal possesion that has a major impact on the quality of our life.

Apart from being the mechanism  that keeps us breeding and moving, the shape and health of our body greatly affects our appearance, productivity and longivity.

Have you ever wondered why some people are so motivated to work hard to live in the best houses and drive the best cars, but do not work towards improving the shape and health of their body?

You Need To Work Towards Being Fit And Healthy

I seriously believe that the reason so many people do not give sufficient attention to their body is because they believe nature is responsible for how fit and healthy they are.

As a result of this idea, they do not take any steps to upgrade their body's health and fitness condition unless they become seriously ill or greatly obstructed by a problem that affects their body.

For example, some people will go on a fat loss program only when they become obese or a doctor recommends losing weight. This is a bit sad in my opinion. If you highly value life and enjoy the experience of possessing nice things during your lifetime, you should aim for maximum health and fitness of your body and maintain that possession for as long as possible.

Upgrading your health and fitness level is not really difficult, it just requires a lot of commitment.

Getting fitter and getting healthier can happen concurrently most of the times. The things you do to get fitter oftentimes results in the improvement of your health as well, once it is done sensibly.

Believe me, it's really rewarding to successfully get your body to reach a superior level of health and fitness. It won't happen overnight, but if you start taking action and stick to it you'll eventually get there.

Gaining Excess Fat Cells Makes It Much Harder To Stay Lean

We can gain fat cells, however the problem is that we can't get rid of them. True, we can diminish them, but they stay around forever in our body.

Sadly, it's very easy to regain the weight if you don't take heed whenever you have those fat cells. Anyone who has at no time gained that fat automatically will find it easier to not gain weight.

It's Harder to Stay Lean With More Fat Cells

A slim individual will find it easier staying lean than an individual who is or has been obese. Even though an obese individual can become very lean, it will  be harder all the time for them to maintain a slimmer body than a person who has stayed slim.

Avoiding gaining excess fat cells in the first place is the best way to stay lean and trim. There's simply not a lot of space for mistakes in diet or workout for someone with excess fat cells.

Don't Bulk Up and Build Fat Cells

Gaining fat cells on purpose by bulking up just makes it more difficult in the long run for you to keep a lean and trim body.

It's possible for someone who bulk up to get lean again, but it's very easy for that person to put on excess fat again because those fat cells just never go away.

Maintaining a lean body is difficult, and the people who gain excess body fat quickly will always gain fat more easily.

Some bodybuilders work hard at gaining a lot of weight quickly after the end of a tough competition. Staying lean while you gain muscle mass is the best approach, it makes maintenance a whole lot easier.

Even if You Were Overweight, Keep Positive About Staying Lean

It's true that you will find it harder to stay lean if you've been overweight. But, following the right diet and workout plan will make it happen.

Working with  strategies like "doing cardio workouts on an empty stomach" will help you burn body fat more effectively. Don't say that it's too hard, you must work hard to get results that will give you an amazing body.

Don't Gain Excess Body Fat and it'll Be Easier to Stay Lean

If you avoid adding excess body fat in the first place, it is so much easier to keep a lean body. People will wow at your amazing metabolism, but it's really your strategic diet and workout plan that will be the secret to your fat-free body.

Stay on top when it comes to being in shape. Always maintain your body fat level less that 10 pounds, and staying lean will be easier than you think.

Avoid Consuming Energy Drinks To Effectively Burn Body Fat From A Workout

If you consume energy drinks such as Gatorade and Red Bull before or during your workout, you are making a mistake.

I once believed drinking energy drinks was a good thing to supply me with energy to workout hard. Here's the problem with this - you are getting your energy from an outside source. You are burning calories from the drink, but what you want to do is burn body fat as much as possible.

Consider Fat Stored In Your Body To Be Energy Reserves

Our bodies store fat as fuel for emergency. It's primary source for getting this fuel is from the food and drinks we consume.

Energy drinks are effective at providing energy to the body, as they are simple sugars which are quickly used up by the body.

When you exercise your body will search for and burn any carbohydrates you have laying around. The only time it will access stored fat is when your primary fuel (the energy from food) is completely used up.

Getting Rid Of The primary Source Of Energy To Burn More Body Fat

Whenever you drink sports or energy drinks containing calories, you will need to burn off all of those calories before your body will access your fat stores.

It is my opinion that one should not drink those calories in the first place.

By doing this you'll be burning body fat every minute of doing your fat-burning exercises. If you do not have those calorie-rich energy drinks in your body, then it's body fat that's going to get burned when you workout.

How About Not eating A Single Calorie Up To 4 Hours Before Your A Workout

Do you want to burn off body fat fast? Then, don't consume any source of calories at all four hours prior to your workout. You will feel a big difference when you exercise. Your body will be in the fat burning zone and you will feel it.

There is almost a certain look of your muscles when your body is in a low-carb state. I can tell by looking at people if they will be able to burn body fat from their workout. As a hint: most people don't prep their bodies properly.

The Alternative Drink For A Workout

Green tea is a great alternative to get a surge of energy for your workout without the calories. The amazing thing about green tea is that it is very healthy as well.

Green tea is a tremendous source of antioxidants which fights the increase in free radicals that is caused by exercise. I like to drink green tea while it's still hot, because it seems to warm my body up and work better (this is only from my experience, this isn't based on scientific proof).

Drink green tea for your workout, and avoid drinking energy drinks. You will get much better fat burning results.
